Benue Homes allows users to request deletion of their account and associated data.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Benue Homes app.
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Account or Profile.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
If you no longer have access to the app
You can request account deletion by contacting us at support@benuehomes.com.
Please include the email address or phone number linked to your Benue Homes account so we can identify the account.
Data deleted or deactivated
- User profile information
- Login account access
- Saved listings
- Watchlists
- Push notification device tokens
- Agent application access, where applicable
- User-visible account activity
Data we may retain temporarily
Some records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, audit logs, and marketplace integrity. This may include inquiry records, listing reports, agent verification review history, listing moderation records, and deleted-account identifiers used to prevent abuse or immediate reuse of deleted email/phone details.
Retention period
Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable period. Some limited records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal, regulatory, or operational reasons.
