How Enterprise Accounts Work
Learn how corporate real estate agencies operate on BenueHomes, how administrators manage agency members, and the rules governing agency membership and applications.
1. Overview
An Enterprise Account on BenueHomes is designed for registered corporate real estate agencies, property firms, and developer organisations. It allows an agency to establish a verified branded presence, manage a roster of licensed agents, automate Easy Upload listing submissions, and maintain central oversight over team property inventory.
2. Applying for an Enterprise Account
To apply for an Enterprise Account, the designated corporate representative must submit the official Enterprise Application via the BenueHomes app. Required information includes:
- Agency Details: Registered business name, office address, official contact phone number, and company email.
- CAC Registration Number: Valid 7-digit Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) RC/BN registration number.
- CAC Certificate: Uploaded copy of the official CAC Certificate of Incorporation or Business Name Registration.
- CAC Status Report (PDF Only): Official CAC Status Report or Particulars of Directors document uploaded strictly in PDF format.
Once submitted, the application enters administrative review. You will receive notifications regarding application status.
3. Enterprise Admin Responsibilities
The applicant who creates and is approved for the Enterprise Account becomes the Enterprise Administrator.
- The Enterprise Admin has exclusive authority to invite agents, set up Easy Upload permissions, and manage subscription plans.
- Properties submitted by verified enterprise members automatically display under the agency brand.
- The Enterprise Admin oversees all listings submitted under the agency name.
4. Adding & Managing Agency Members
Approved individual agents on BenueHomes can be invited by an Enterprise Admin to join their agency roster.
- An Enterprise Admin invites an agent using their registered phone number, email, or agent code.
- The invited agent receives a notification and can accept or decline the invitation.
- An individual agent can belong to only one active Enterprise Account at a time.
5. Important Membership Rules
To protect agency identity, property rights, and platform security, the following rules apply:
- Enterprise Admin Rule The Enterprise Administrator cannot abandon or leave the Enterprise Account while it is active. Because the admin is the legal custodian of the corporate account, they maintain responsibility for the agency.
- Agent Member Rule Agency Members (invited agents) can request to leave an enterprise. An agent member may submit a removal request or be removed from the roster by the Enterprise Admin.
6. Reapplication & Cooldown Rules
If an enterprise application is not approved:
- 24-Hour Cooldown: Following a rejection, there is a mandatory 24-hour wait period before submitting a new application. During this wait period, the previous details remain saved so you can review and update them.
- 3-Rejection Maximum: An applicant is allowed up to 3 application attempts in total. After 3 rejections, further enterprise applications are permanently blocked. Applicants reaching this limit may contact BenueHomes Support on WhatsApp for assistance.
- Independence: Being in an enterprise reapplication cooldown does not affect an individual agent's personal account status, but personal account approvals do not bypass an active enterprise cooldown.
